Just heard on NPR that Trump and DeVos may end Public Service Loan Forgiveness program. A program that I have personally been in for over 5 years, and that was enacted by the G.W. Bush administration. It is infuriates me that this administration can potentially break a promise and pull the rug out from under ≈ half a million public service workers with the stroke of a pen. After we get our degrees, we choose public service knowing our pay will be lower than private sector. Now what?

@Kent hi Kent, sometimes we let the beast out of us that we normally control... most feel bad afterwords. We were educated to control and use our power right. Nations are big organism and behave similar. So we have to trust that the learned control is getting the bad mood under control again.
@vilbi Thanks Wolfgang. I have lived in the US all my 57 years with the exception of a few years of travel abroad, and have never been so concerned about my country, or my fellow citizens as I am now. Trump and his administration are dangerous to the United States and the rest of the world.
I'm too old to be scared, and if I let myself worry I'll just suffer twice. But I'm angry and feel powerless. It looks like for now, democracy doesn't exist here anymore.
